Meet Tracy
Tracy McCoy is the Publisher of The Laurel and has proudly owned the magazine since 2006. She loves the mountains and feels fortunate to share the beauty, stories, and people of this special region through the pages of her publication.
Family is at the heart of Tracy’s life. She is married and the proud mother of an adult son, and time spent with her family is something she treasures deeply.
When she isn’t working on the magazine, Tracy enjoys painting and exploring her creative side through art, finding inspiration in the landscapes and life of the mountains she loves.

Meet Cindi
​
Cindi has been an important part of The Laurel team since 2009. Her creativity, organization, and dedication help keep everything running smoothly as each issue comes together.
​
As a marketing professional, Cindi cares deeply about the clients who trust her with their advertising. She works on the production side of the magazine creating ads and assisting with the layout and design of The Laurel’s pages, while also serving as the office manager.
​
Family is at the heart of Cindi’s life. She is a wife, mom, and proud Mimi, and she treasures the time she spends with her family. When she isn’t working, Cindi enjoys expressing her creativity through projects at Sunshine & Sawdust Creative Studio.

Meet D'Anna
​
D’Anna Coleman is The Laurel’s Art Director and a vital part of the magazine’s creative team. With a sharp eye for design and a very creative mind, she creates advertisements and designs the layout of The Laurel’s pages, helping bring each issue to life.
​
D’Anna is the proud mother of three beautiful girls, and spending time with them is her favorite pastime. When she has a little free time, she enjoys treasure hunting, making her home cozy for her girls, and being actively involved in her church.

Meet Melynda
​
Melynda is a marketing partner with The Laurel and has been part of the team for several years. Creative, smart, and full of personality, she works closely with clients to help them share their stories through effective advertising, often creating ads for the businesses she represents.
​
A native of Rabun County, Melynda is well known and loved throughout the community. She is the proud mother of two incredibly talented adult children, one a gifted graphic designer and the other a talented tattoo artist.
​
When she isn’t working, you might find Melynda kayaking down a river, traveling solo across the country, or enjoying time with friends.

Meet Paul
​
Paul joined The Laurel team in 2024, bringing with him several years of corporate sales experience. Friendly, efficient, and well liked by his clients, Paul enjoys building relationships and helping businesses connect with the community through effective marketing.
​
In addition to his work with The Laurel, Paul is involved in several business ventures, including insurance sales and other entrepreneurial pursuits.
​
Paul lives in the mountains with his wife and is a proud husband and dad. When he isn’t working, he enjoys entertaining, watching sports, grilling, and simply enjoying life with family and friends.

Meet Lucas
​
Lucas has grown up with The Laurel and has been part of the magazine’s world for much of his life. He contributes in a variety of ways, from providing graphic design elements and writing editorial pieces to brainstorming new ideas that help keep the magazine fresh and engaging.
​
Lucas enjoys working with computers and technology, and he brings a thoughtful and creative perspective to the team.
​
When he isn’t working on projects for The Laurel, Lucas enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and exploring his interest in automobiles.
